Charm's Creations NSD Challenge

I can't believe It's been almost a year since I've uploaded anything here! I have been scrapping, I promise! I am going to try and update the blog at least once a month - as a way to keep me up to date with photographing and keeping track of my scrapping.

My most recent scrapping efforts have been two challenges set by Charmaine from Charm's Creations. Over in her Facebook group she has a monthly challenge and set a special challenge for National Scrapbooking Day.

The first challenge is the April/May mid-montly challenge. The inspiration comes from:

And I came up with this!

I loved the chance to use a background I'd made with a new stencil and my whipped spackle. I sprayed it with Dylusions mist to match the photo and created a cluster with my Charm's Creation superstar, some flowers and a resist heart sprayed with a Heidi Swapp mist. The butterflies and title finished it off!

The National Scrapbooking Day challenge was a sketch:

I came up with this with another one of my lovely photo's from Connie Hatch Photography!

Again, I featured one of my new hearts from Charm's Creations.

D'Lish Birthday Challenge 7

This was a colour challenge using blue and yellow and suited these photos of Emma and Kaye from their birthday party in January.

D'lish Birthday Challenge 5

I do love a good recipe challenge and this was no different. It stretched me a bit but I went from being quite uncertain to loving the end result! I just wish my photography showed this off better.
